Community Involvement

At St. Luke Catholic School, we value the importance of building strong, meaningful relationships—both within our school community and with our partners in the broader community. These connections enrich the experiences we offer our students and help create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

We are proud of our close relationship with our secondary school affiliate, St. Joseph-Scollard Hall. Through this partnership, high school students join us to assist with coaching sports teams and to support learning in classrooms through the co-operative education program. Their energy, leadership, and enthusiasm not only enhance the academic and athletic experiences of our students but also help foster a positive and familiar connection to Catholic secondary education.

Our commitment to community extends beyond our school walls. We warmly welcome local clubs and organizations that use our facilities, reflecting our belief in being an active and engaged part of the wider community.

We also value our partnerships with Nipissing University and Canadore College. By hosting teacher candidates, we contribute to the development of future educators while enriching our classrooms with fresh perspectives and new ideas.

In addition, we are grateful for our strong relationship with the North Bay Police Service. Through their involvement, including visits from the school liaison officer, our students benefit from valuable presentations and learning opportunities that support safety, well-being, and positive decision-making.

Together, these partnerships strengthen our school and create a caring, connected community where students can learn, grow, and succeed.
