Living Our Catholic Virtues
Each month, our students and staff focus on living out our Catholic Virtues in meaningful and intentional ways. These virtues are woven into daily school life and guide how we learn, interact, and care for one another. We take pride in recognizing students who demonstrate leadership in exemplifying values such as respect, empathy, justice, patience, responsibility, compassion, forgiveness, stewardship, tolerance, and honesty. Through these shared values, we continue to build a caring and faith-filled community.
Our Belief
As a Catholic faith community, we strive to help our students grow into individuals who live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through prayer, reflection, and daily example, we work to integrate our faith into both the curriculum and the relationships that shape our school community. In doing so, we support our students in developing a strong moral foundation rooted in faith, love, and service.
Our Partners
Our connection with our parish community, St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, plays an important role in our spiritual life at St. Luke. Our parish priest is warmly welcomed into our school and joins us for Eucharistic celebrations and Liturgies of the Word, which take place both in at Church, in classrooms and as a whole school community. We are also grateful for the ongoing support of the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Women’s League. Each year, we select a Faith Ambassador who helps guide and support the spiritual growth of both students and staff, strengthening our shared commitment to living our faith.
Demonstrating Our Faith
Living our faith means putting it into action. At St. Luke, we proudly support a variety of charitable initiatives, including food drives, the Santa Fund, the Holy Childhood Organization, and other local community efforts. These opportunities allow our students to develop compassion, generosity, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
We believe that a strong partnership between church, home, and school nurtures the spiritual development of our students. Sacramental preparation is encouraged and supported in collaboration with our parish. School Masses, thoughtfully planned by students and teachers, provide meaningful opportunities for worship and reflection throughout the year.
