Welcome to St. Luke

St. Luke Catholic School is an Early French Immersion school offering students from JK to Grade 8 an opportunity to acquire French as a second language within a caring and safe Catholic environment. In 2009 the former St. Joseph and Sacred Heart schools amalgamated to form the new St. Luke Catholic School community. The official school opening was in September, 2011 at 225 Milani Road, North Bay, Ontario.

Our school provides a nurturing, learning environment where high expectations and individual needs are emphasized.  Our dedicated staff work together with students, parents and the parish to foster a caring community.  It is our aim to provide our students with a Catholic education which will help them to develop spiritually, morally, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially.

We continue to provide our students with the latest technology so that they can be 21st Century learners.  As well we have a library, a large gymnasium, a running track, an outdoor recreational area with playground equipment, stenciled playground games and an outdoor basketball court.

Our school is comprised of approximately 250 students and 20 teaching professionals who offer a variety of teaching methodologies while implementing the Ontario curriculum. Our staff is involved in ongoing professional development and initiatives of the Ministry of Education.

We offer our students an opportunity to develop their leadership skills in many ways and we participate regularly in social justice activities that benefit our local and global community.
